One computer here equates to one office.. the new one is exclusive for Quickbooks and other work-related stuff because F doesn’t want anything screwed up or i’ll lose my job entirely. The new one is synced to F’s machine using Folder Share .. kaya talagang di ko magamit for extra curricular activities.. haaay..

Sana kelangan din ng car and house and lot sa Quickbooks noh? Hehehehe..

Sorry.. i know i have been invisible for the past few days .. blame my effing flu.

Anyhoo, i’ll be starting out on my new career as a bookkeeper pretty soon so expect me to be non-existent for the coming weeks.. Yep.. those effing numbers are coming back to my life now.. and they’ll soon be a part of my daily routine.

Imagine that?!! Hahahaha!

I know this much in Bookkeeping.. As in nada. zilch.

And i’m still in awe til now thinking how much my Boss trusts me and how much he believes in me.

Man, that’s incredibly something to me!

We were looking for a school that offers a 30-hour course in computerized bookkeping kaso puro 2-yr courses lang nakita namin..

Anyways, Freddie already trained me on the basics. We had a 3-hour training the last time he was here.. May 3 i think, and grasped everything i could learn during that short span of time.

My bookkeeping will be different from my job as a web developer in our company.. kaya sobrang excited nako.

I realized the other night that the Internet is one hell of a scary world, when my Sponsored Reviews account was hacked.

The email address we sent out your PayPal payment to is: noval_te@yahoo.com

Sponsored Reviews have always been prompt on payments. I’ve been with them for over a year now and I don’t normally check my account’s payment details page of the programs im involved with.. except when checking when the next payment date would be.

But that experience.. really freaked the shit out of me!

Some hacker changed my paypal email address to noval_te@yahoo.com in time for the payout.. and prolly changed it back again after the payment was already sent to her account.

I don’t know if my account was the only one successfully hacked, coz Sasha’s friend also had a similar case. Her friend’s (Ate Thess) SR account was hacked too, but luckily.. she found out 1 day before payout. that her paypal account was changed.

Anyhoo.. SR sent me the payment already, and they’re still tracking down who the hell that fukcin hacker is and how he possibly got into the system.

The only clue we have so far, is that.. he’s from the Philippines.

Kababayan ko pa.

Hackers are everywhere. And the only best way for us, internet users to avoid having our accounts hacked is to be careful and always alert about our security.

• Use strong passwords on your accounts. Not only on SR, but on all programs you’re with, and on all accounts you have.
• Check your account and payment details from time to time.
• When using public computers, make sure that you are completely logged out. - Delete the browser’s cookies/private data.
• You should Install add-ons like Google Toolbar, or Netcraft Anti-Phishing Toolbar as these help identify phishing websites and prevent your computer from being hacked.
